( her hand slips from his arm, stepping in front of him as the path narrows, leading him deeper into the trees )
Lavender, sage, rosemary-- they're all typical things that you would find. Sage, especially, has become almost a symbol of a cleansing ritual, though really, it's what you wish to cleanse that should also play some part in it.
( she pauses her step, checking their path before moving again, careful steps in her heels over the rocks and branches )
For you, bay leaves and nettles would serve you well. I could make you a little hex bag to carry.
( hex bags, despite their name, could have positive uses as well as the spells that they were used to seeing )
Sage. Right. [ Spoken with a scoff. It's been appropriated, after all, by a lot of would-be witches. Just another legitimate practice made into a trend by social media. ] Somehow I feel like people just pick it up at their local store and forget there's supposed to be any intention in it.
[ Fortunately, going about that the wrong way doesn't have any deadly consequences...that he's aware of, anyway. ]
