— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE 5'2 with long, red hair that naturally (wildly) curls with hazel eyes. Rowena keeps her curls softer, straightened and in looser, more elegant curls, her hair typically left loose or with a small section pinned back. Rowena typically wants others to initially underestimate her, letting them see her as the small, slight woman that her appearance is, wanting to be perceived as just a regular woman of good class and expensive taste. It's only in a supernatural situation that she'll let this appearance fall and will show her danger (and when she chooses so).

CLOTHING Rowena's dress ranges from elegant, long-sleeved and floor-length dresses to a classy blouse with long, wide-legged pants, though no matter what she's wearing she always has high heels with them. Her clothing usually portrays her expensive tastes in the fabrics she chooses, or some glitz in the pattern/material or her accessories.

DEMEANOR Rowena is a very reserved person at her core, having spent centuries being shunned and made to feel worthless outside of her own power. What she shows to others is confidence, elegant conversation, and warmer smiles, as well as trying to draw people in with her wit and charm. If Rowena is playing someone she'll often lie, though any situation will have a lot of misdirection and half-truths in her answers (unless there's reason to trust). She's very bold and manipulative, ballsy and reckless at times but when she does offer genuine help it's noticeable: the sly charm slides away into a more honest sound.

AURAL Rowena is proudly Scottish, her accent not diminishing despite her years and travel, and thickening when she's frustrated or ranting.

OLFACTORY Rowena typically smells of magic and whatever ingredients that she has been using, even with a perfume lightly underneath that. The smell of Rowena's magic differs depending on the type of spell she's using, the ingredients involved and whether the magic is more innate or spell-based. Her innate magic would bring a lingering smell of her shampoo (rose) or perfume (dark berries and jasmine).

★ WITCH. As a witch, Rowena's immortal, immune to ageing and disease but able to be killed by other methods. Rowena has been described by others as a very powerful and dangerous witch, given the liberties she takes in using her magic and her history of using it to hurt other people for her own gains. After practising her craft for centuries, she's incredibly knowledgeable about many forms of magic, skilled in spellwork (and creating spells), using hex bags and Enochian sigils or Druidic runes. Rowena is capable of using her magic to heal herself and others, transform people and objects into other things, astral project, move people and objects telekinetically, conjure illusions, curse others (and remove curses) and has an awareness of other magical (or supernatural) beings, being able to sense them. While Rowena knows many spells, she still relies on grimoires to cast spells that she has never used before along with ingredients. Rowena's eyes glow purple when she uses her magic. She is also able to teleport and see Reapers.

★ LINGUIST. Rowena has learned multiple languages throughout her long life. Whilst many of her spells are cast in Latin, Rowena has shown that she is knowledgable in reading and casting spells in other (and ancient) languages, being able to translate the components needed for them, and in some cases stating that she is the only witch alive capable of translating such ancient magic (and the language).
